Dr Naveen Jain, DM, completed his neonatology training from the pres gious Postgraduate Ins tute of Medical Educa on and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh. He established the department of Neonatology at Kerala Ins tute of Medical Sciences (KIMSHEALTH), Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, in 2003. Besides being the editor of the first SAE of Cloherty and Stark’s Manual of Neonatal Care, he has edited other books of high credibility like Illingworth’s The Development of the Infant and Young Child: Normal and Abnormal, 11th edi on (2021), and The High Risk Newborn. Dr Jain is a popular teacher and a recipient of “Dis nguished National Board of Examina ons (NBE) Teacher Award” in 2021 from the honorable Vice President of India.
