Why are My Words Tangled ?

Words are not my friends. While everyone around me throws them casually into the air… says them with the ease of an eagle in flight… and strings them together in neat sentences to weave their thoughts… I jump hurdles over them. I tiptoe around their potholes. I juggle them to find the ones I can say.’ When a young boy finds his words turning into a tangle, causing him to trip over them because he stutters, his mother shows him how beautiful his words truly are and helps him find his voice.

Mamta Nainy is a children’s writer and editor. So she divides her time between writing and editing for children, making doodles that only she finds funny and eating cupcakes.
